Night of Pleasure by Delilah Marvelle

Derek Holbrook, Viscount Banfield, learned of his betrothal to Clementine Grey while his father was on his deathbed. He spends the next seven years dreaming about the beautiful girl and sending her countless letters of love.
As their wedding day approaches, Clementine finally has the courage to tell Derek that she is not going through with the betrothal. She is instead leaving the country with her friend, Nassar.  
Can Derek get the woman he has come to love to change her mind and honor the betrothal agreement?
This book is different from Delilah's other School of Gallantry books.  Neither of the characters have any experience being intimate with someone (other than Derek's one time with a "paid companion" to get him ready for his wedding night), so the love scenes where quite awkward. 
It was still an enjoyable read, but don't go into it thinking that it is anything like Delilah's normal stuff. The epilogue showed how their relationship had progressed and I hope to see more or them in the upcoming books.
The ended of the novel included a write-up of the next book in the series.  It is about Lord Thayer who makes several appearances in this novel away from the School of Gallantry. I've been intrigued with Lord Thayer since I started this series and eagerly await his story.
