Ever since seeing Winifred and Lucien together in a previous book, I had hoped that Collins would write about them becoming a couple. I'm so glad that she did. This was a different kind of a story as the couple knew each other at the start and the hero has basically declared himself to the heroine. It definitely didn't take away from the love story. You still see the building of their relationship and how Winifred and Lucien start to connect on a different level than they had previously.
I would definitely read the other books in the series before reading this one, just to get the full backstory of Winifred and Lucien. This was a nice ending to the series. I only wish that we had been able to see the other three couples in an epilogue where they learn that Winifred and Lucien had gotten together...
